I installed a Mega-Torque spring from knifekits.com about a month after I bought it. The action of these Gerber is notoriously slow from the factory, but the new spring drastically improved that. Not too long after that I added my own knurling to the spine and two-toned the blade as shown below.Originally Posted by Woodstock

Yes, a couple of times to see if I could speed it up by some means. Pretty straight forward by auto standards. Did the .50 spring drop right in?
