sold knives coming back to haunt you?

have you ever Sold some of your prized knives and years later you see them on a website for sale? Man, I just saw 2 of my old Crawford one off's I ordered from Pat back in late 70's on Arizona's site. Brought tears to my eyes...especially when I saw the price they are asking for then now :(

I sold a Severtech for $300, bought it brand new for $250. I sold a Federlance, don't remember what I paid for it or what I sold it for. What I do remember is I wish I still had both of those knives...Al

I agree on the severtech. I still regret getting rid of mine. Almost as much as my Huck. That one really haunts me.

I sold back three years ago more than I care to count. Needed cash, but still hurts like heck to see them later on and for sale with inflated prices!

Didn't mind letting go of many of them, but the Dalton's hurt the worst. Had a few real nice pieces.

yes they haunt...had alot of early daltons i think abomb bought most of mine many years ago...sucks but thats life
