This is a rare clip point. In speaking with Charles Ochs. Yes I called to find out the "history" . In 98 when they made these knives, there were 25-30 blades that were imperfect. Rather then scrap them the 98 "C" was born as they were modified to clip points. Only 25 were ever released to the public.
The black oxcide coating has some handling marks from the years gone by. They are just surface marks. This was never a user. Never sharpened, or carried.
Price on this one is $300.00 . This includes all paypal fees. Priority Mail shipping with insurance within the U.S.A.. No international sales .
Buyer MUST be at least 18 years of age to purchase I may request a fax copy of your proof of age at my liberty .
Buyer MUST know local laws in reference to to automatic knives in your local area .

This image is a close up of a surface mark in the black oxide that would not come up in the other images . For full disclosure please see this image . It is a surface scratch in the oxide not into the metal of the blade. Even running a fingernail along it you would be pressed to feel anything. Strictly surface !
